Nigeria Police Force Express satisfaction over the just concluded screening Exercise

The Nigeria Police Force has Express satisfaction over the the examination screening Exercise which took place on the 17th  to 18th of May. These was  made public through their handle and recruitment portal toward job applicants who applied for the 2021 recruitment process. The force said, they are hopeful that this co-operation  and compliance will surely produce results.

The force said that the Nigeria Police Force is one of the law enforcement and maintenance agencies in Nigeria which was establish by the then federal military government with it primary objectives and goal as it regards and relate to maintenance of law and order with global standard and practice. However it is very rare to find any systematic and extensive survey of the opinion of police officers regarding how they perceive the Nigerian police force (NPF) as well as perception and how it affects the social organization of policing in the country.

Current survey reveals that officers of the Nigeria Police Force is seen as agents of the government and not as a service group for the public. The results from public opinion also said that the Nigeria Police Force is only answerable to the government and it subunit hence disregard the general public.

The force disclose that problem of Police officers are partly due to the way some officers of the law perceive the force. The force spokesman also assured and promise that efforts are on ground to reposition the mode and system of operations and policing in line with it core mandate as well as methods and procedures that will be use when enforcing law and maintain order.

Applicant Requirements For The Examination/screening Exercise

All applicant are required to must have the following.

National identification number (NIN), a functional Email address and a valid phone number.

Minimum of 5 credit and above in not more than 2 sitting in ( WAEC, GCE, NECO & NABTEB) 

A copy of original O’Level Result

The force also emphasize on the Eligibility Status of all applicant which includes:

Applicant must be within the ages of 17 -25years.

Applicant must be medically, physically and psychologically fit and must not be less than 1.67M tall for male and 1.64m for female.

Applicant must not have less than 86cm (34 inches) expanded chest measurements for male.
